masak pastie.org has a nice colour scheme. 07:46
I say this because we have been discussing implementing a pastebin for Perl 6 code, using STD as a basis for colour coding.
wayland76 ...and pasties are good with tomato sauce :) 07:48
masak that, too. 07:59
I wasn't planning on stealing the name, though. just the colours.
moritz_ masak: did you like my dispatching idea on the november list? 08:00
masak moritz_: yes, I almost replied, too. 08:01
masak replies
moritz_ lol
uhm, november-wiki.org has "macros" as a link to S02 08:03
that should be S06
masak patches welcome. 08:04
it's a wiki :)
moritz_ wait, didn't I have a login? ;-)
ok, how do I recover a forgotten password?
masak I think S02 might have mentioned macros at one point.
moritz_: uhm.
check your email? :) 08:05
masak checks the password on feather
moritz_ perlcabal.org/syn/S06.html#Macros
zarah moritz_'s link is also tinyurl.com/3zcsjl
masak moritz_: no, it turns out you don't have a login. :/ I'll ask viklund to provide you with one ASAP. in the meantime, see github.com/viklund/november/blob/e9...ications/0 for the source of that page. 08:09
zarah masak's link is also tinyurl.com/antjna
masak oh, I re-had a very nice idea yesterday that I have to tell y'all about! :)
moritz_ you store the pages in git?
masak moritz_: no, just a basic set of initial pages to get the wiki running. 08:10
the Genshi clone, it could parse the XML of the templates, which is probably slow in Rakudo at best, or it could compile down the XML templates to PIR, which would be awesome!
that means I'll have a reason to try out the PCT, too. 08:11
ihrd so, I catch and send first rakudobug working on grant 13:35
slow, but works :) 13:36
masak ihrd++ 13:50
ihrd: I'll do some thinking about templating and engines tonight. 13:51
maybe even some coding.
ihrd masak: you mean Ganshi-like templater? 13:52
masak: I`m spooke with Jonathan about my Template::Simple bloks by #63158, mb he llok at this ticket soon 13:59
masak ihrd: yes, because the other one I consider to be yours.
masak checks #63158
ihrd I thing food idea to push code into drafts/ at Web repo if you have some sketches 14:00
:)))
food -> good
masak ihrd: sure, drafts/ is good, if that makes us brave in pushing code. 14:01
but we'll also have to be brave in moving things out of drafts/ then.
ihrd yes :)
I think doc/ for text and pseudocode 14:02
and drafts/ for workable with rakudo code
masak ihrd: sounds good to me. 14:04
during this week and the next, my prime concern will be to create things that will benefit November. 14:05
possibly also Maya, but I haven't looked at Maya in depth yet.
ihrd I hope to found and discuss good approach for Dispathcer, and make it naive realization in the next few days 14:07
if #63158 wiil be fixed, I will make Template::Simple a litle bit useful 14:08
masak working code will be valued very highly as we go along. 14:11
ihrd masak: I use dictionary, but still can`t understand what you mean in last sentence :( 14:32
masak sorry. I didn't realise I was speaking idiomatically.
ihrd problem with 'as we go along'
masak 'value highly' = 'like'
'go along' = 'continue forward in time'
'go along' refers to an ongoing process, and following that process continuously. 14:33
example: 'we need to stay in touch as we go along' = 'we need to have meetings fairly often during the project' 14:34
ihrd thank you
yes, we should :) 14:35
masak my pleasure.
ihrd I am alredy sleep. So I go to the bed. bb! 15:15
masak ihrd: see you! 15:16

wayland76 Just for the backlog, I'd argue that "stay in touch" is closer to "continue communicating", whether by meeting or otherwise 22:58
