Tene_ /msg 06:50

masak thank you.
I'll send the email.
Tene_ I meant to send that in email sooner, but haven't yet. Since you're volunteering for me... thank you. :)
masak no prob. 06:52
Tene_ I expect to be done being sick by tomorrow 06:55
so I should be able to do some work for Web tomorrow night. 06:56
masak cool. 07:01
this week I'm simply writing down all ideas that come to mind.
with a view to making them as concrete and implementable as possible, of course.
Tene_ I vaguely plan to start experimenting with Tags.
masak as in... HTML? 07:05
Tene_ HTML generation, like Template::Declare and friends. Unless there's something else you'd prefer I'd work on. 07:06
masak checks Template::Declare 07:09
(basically, I approve of any idea which might lead to runnable code. we'll improve/consolidate things from there.)
Template::Declare seems cool. would be nice to have a Perl 6 clone of that. 07:10
it falls somewhere in layer 1 or layer 2, I think.
perhaps layer 2, since that one only contains a Genshi clone right now. 07:11
I'm sort of thinking about reading/parsing/processing HTML as well. it would be awesome to build a set of tools that could mix other people's web pages, for example. that's a typical killer app, I think. 07:17
handling broken HTML is an issue.
Tene_ rather
masak but one which other HTML parsers handle fairly well. 07:19
I don't like how use.perl.org looks. it would be so cool to be able to throw up a twenty-line web application that served a rearranged version of it. ;) 07:22
something like "here's where the blog posts come in. keep those, and but the sidebar here instead, and use this stylesheet." 07:23
