Woodi whiteknight: pong 20:45
benabik seen whiteknight 20:46
aloha whiteknight was last seen in #parrot 20 hours 48 mins ago saying "ok".
cotto I get the feeling you two are going to have trouble catching each other. 20:48
benabik You might want to just leave a msg or two. 20:49
Woodi right
whiteknight: about your last blog and maybe problem with code in example that C stdout uses threads inside. anyway I think you implemented big % of Actor system now (you sayd Erlang was inspiration) 20:56
benabik Woodi: Try adding a msg at the front of that...
msg Woodi like this
aloha OK. I'll deliver the message.
Woodi I was just talking :)
k
benabik I don't know how much whiteknight checks the backlog. Although I guess you could ramble and send me a msg to check. ;-) 20:57
s/me/him
.o( Not that the backlog here is hard to catch up on these days... )
Woodi I can't msg absent persons in curent IRC :) 20:59
benabik Not /msg, just msg.
Woodi ah, k
benabik aloha will pick it up and /msg him when he comes back.
Woodi msg whiteknight: maybe just go ahead and implement full Actor Model ? :) 21:00
aloha OK. I'll deliver the message.
Woodi msg whiteknight: one thing: I think in orginal paper on Actor Model actors communications was async but appeared to be "alive" like being carried by something active... I thinked channels was kind of actors too but all Actor Model is based on "packet switching" machines idea 21:04
aloha OK. I'll deliver the message.
