whiteknight hello moritz
moritz whiteknight: did you notice the readline issues that caused the last R* release to revert back to parrot 4.4.0? 12:19
readline and buffering or flushing changes
whiteknight moritz: pmichaud++ reported one issue that I thought was resolved. I don't think i saw any other issues
he suggested there was some kind of issue on certain platforms, but I never saw example code for it 12:20
moritz I'm not sure how easy those golf down to parrot code
whiteknight don't golf them down.
moritz but one was that in Rakudo, get() (which does a .readline call under the hood) didn't get a line until the stream had an EOF
I have a rakudo installation on ubuntu where that happens 12:21
whiteknight ok
Okay, in this threading issue with nqp, it appears that an UnManagedStruct is being used as a LexPad 12:26
it throws an exception during a lex lookup, and attempting to throw that exception dumps core

whiteknight For the exception throwing an error, it looks like maybe something is wrong with hll mapping? 12:29
in fact, for both cases it looks like a problem with hll mapping 13:11
