alvis What I did: 19:16
* Posted annoucement about 'parrot.github.com' to 'parrot.org'
What I will do: 19:17
* Complete 'README_gh-pages.pod' for 'parrot.github.com'
* Complete update of 'release_manager_guide.pod'
* Complete rewrite of 'submissions.pod' (and related wiki) to reflect transition from 'trac.parrot.org' to 'github issues'.
What I plan (near-term) to do:
* Update 'tools/docs/mk_html_docs.pl' (still!)
* Update 'parrotbug' to better work with github issues.
* Develop procedure to roll parrot's old docs into 'github.parrot.com' and upload parrot's new docs to the front page 19:18
* Develop script to automate pod -> *roff for binaries
* Draft a pddxx_documentstd.pod and submit to parrot-dev.
* Rewrite "Articles", using Winxed

alvis hello
cotto How's this week been? 19:32

NotFound Hola 19:32
cotto nqp was broken and (afaik) unbroken, which is better than not getting unbroken but worse than not getting broken in the first place 19:33
moritz we had the trac -> github migration, and the resulting outdatedness of lots of docs 19:34
cotto yes. I'm very happy with that, though we'll need to do a pass over the docs to clean them up
Coke alester++ for driving the automated migration.
cotto alester++
and github++
masak alester++ 19:35
dukeleto didn't miss #ps!
alvis and mortiz++ # for creating the github-links branch to update trac refs
cotto Is there anything that needs special attention this week? 19:37
moritz has a question (low priority) 19:38
cotto moritz: go ahead
moritz can somebody please summarize the state of JIT/Lorito? 19:39
like, what is already, what still needs doing, and who's doing it?
cotto moritz: ok
It's been stalled for the last few months.
dukeleto moritz: current status is stalled for lack of tuits 19:40
cotto I see getting 6model into Parrot as a prerequisite to the Lorito transition, so that what I've been planning.
dukeleto moritz: i agree, cotto++ and I need to make it easier for others to take the baton
cotto 6model as a core Parrot thing will mean a substantial overhaul of the object model, especially doing so in a way that keeps Parrot useful for Rakudo. 19:41
Work on the M0 spec and implementations can continue, but will eventually block on 6model in Parrot. 19:42
masak is happy to see Parrot take this path 19:45
moritz well, 6model itself isn't much of an object model, just a storage mechanism 19:46
cotto It's still a significant internal change. 19:48
moritz aye 19:50
cotto At some point, we will need a sane language that compiles down to both M0 and C. Winxed would be a nice choice, but it wasn't written with multiple backends in mind. 19:51
I've been calling it "mole".
moritz: does that answer your question to your satisfaction? 19:53
I'll assume so. 19:57
any other questions?
alvis yes. what about the release scheduled for today? 19:58
cotto that snuck up on me
alvis i think it did everyone.
cotto looks like whiteknight is on the hook
I'll send him a reminder about it. 19:59
done 20:00
alvis: thanks for catching that
alvis it was PerlJam this morning who caught it.
cotto perljam++
I'll make sure that someone gets the release out. 20:01
any other questions or issues? 20:02
Let's call it a wrap. 20:03
Thanks, all.
