NotFound Hola
cotto late report: am working with osuosl to upgrade parrot.org to drupal 7 and help alvis resurrect parrotbug. Apart from that, very busy. 19:32
How's this week been? We have both a release and a branch that wants merging post-release. 19:33
NotFound I lacked the time to test the upcoming winxed additions, so the snapshot will not be updated. 19:34
cotto alvis: do you have any concerns about the release? 19:36
alvis not yet. :)
i'm on schedule and will start after #ps
cotto great 19:37
Make sure to post to parrot-dev when it's safe to push again.
alvis ok, i will
cotto I'll review bacek++'s branch today, hopefully before you're done with the release. 19:38
moritz fwiw I've done a test run of rakudo on parrot/master today, all tests passed
cotto moritz: thanks. That helps.
what platform? 19:39
moritz linux 64bit
benabik starts up a fullest on OS X
cotto Is Rakudo ready for the branch to be merged? I saw that it required a patch. 19:41
moritz well, we can apply that patch easily
with it all tests passed on that branch as well
so +1 to merging the branch after the release
NotFound +1 19:42
cotto great. I'll make sure to let #perl6 know too.
benabik Rakudo releases tend to based on parrot releases... 19:43
moritz the patch is now in a rakudo branch too (conveniently also named take_recont)
benabik I'd prefer to delay the merge until after their release. (That way I don't have to keep rebasing that patch until they update.)
cotto benabik: that's the plan. 19:44
It's too close to merge anything other than bugfixes or documentation updates.

benabik cotto: Waiting for the Parrot release is obvious. Waiting for the Rakudo release is less so, but my preference. 19:45
cotto d'oh. misread "their" as "the".
moritz benabik: not necessary, IMHO 19:46
cotto I'm +1 for merging.
benabik It would make my life marginally easier to delay it for a week. But no serious objection.
I'm too used to my auto-build scripts that update Parrot/NQP/Rakudo all to master, and when Rakudo doesn't build on Parrot master it's more work for me. :-D 19:47
cotto moritz: is there anyone in particular who needs to know when the branch gets merged or can it be anyone with a commit bit? 19:50
message to parrot-dev sent 19:52
moritz cotto: anyone with a commit bit would do
cotto great\\
Is there anything else that needs attention? 19:54
Great. Let's call it a wrap. 19:56
moritz calls it "a wrap" 19:59
cotto now I'm hungry
