masak yes, I agree property keys should just be Strs 15:16
I think I tried to politely point that out the other day 15:17
maybe I was being too subtle... :)
calling a block is something like $runtime.call($block)
but I don't think you'll need to implrement that especially -- method calls should just fall out of property lookup 15:18
there is a chance something special needs to be done with closure HUP'ing (still don't really know what to call that) 15:19
I'm still very much mulling over the discussion about quasis, hygiene and Lisp expectations 15:20
not done yet, but I think currently both I and both of Ven+pdcawley need to reach out more and try to understand the rationale for the other side's unreasonable position, instead of just forcefully restating the obviously correct. 15:21
more specifically, I hear what you're saying to me, but I'm having real trouble acting on it, and I feel that's because (a) Perl 6 is indeed different and has a different basic philosophy, something that needs to be accounted for, and (b) even besides that, from what I know of macros in Perl 6 already and from what I gather of your suggested changes, your suggested changes don't seem internally consistent. 15:24
that's all for now. 15:25
