the thing is, if we use JavaScript as a tie-breaker, JavaScript also quite clearly distinguishes between statements and expressions. 16:19
in fact, I would argue that Perl 5 and Perl 6 do too. 16:20
I'm still a little bit surprised at the fervor that exists for the "everything is an expression" viewpoint. 16:22
