nine CompUnit::PrecompilationStore needs a complete redesign. We really should never return IO::Path objects as that ties us to storing precomp files in the local file system which is exactly what the role is trying to avoid. 08:47
llfourn would be cool if we could store precmop'd bytecode in a DB or something :) 10:10
nine I don't know if it makes sense to do so, but it should absolutely be possible :) 11:08
lizmat llfourn: that was the whole point of the design 11:43
llfourn I think some use case for it could be EVALing untrusted perl6 in a container. Rather than mounting a ro /lib with a .precomp you could simply point the perl6 inside the container to a DB which has all the modules precompiled. 11:57
