mr_ron Looking for feedback on a new module github.com/ronaldxs/Perl6-US-ASCII. This chan is mentioned in docs.perl6.org/language/modules. If there are other/better places for such discussion please say ... 19:27
mst how does your module relate to the process of building and installing perl6 modules? 19:28
I'm not sure I understand
it looks like a bunch of potentially useful regexp utility stuff? 19:29
mr_ron: I suspect you wanted #perl6 for feedback, we're more about "how your code gets into a user's rakudo" rather than "is your code a good idea" 19:30
the toolchain is dedicated to making sure even bad ideas still install insofar as possible ;)
mr_ron It doesn't relate to process. This chan is just given under "Contact Info" in the modules doc.
mst: thanks
mst mr_ron: no, it's given in the contact info section of the 'Modules and Tools Related to Module Authoring' section 19:31
hence my description above of what we do here
it's reasonably obvious if you look at the table of contentst first 19:34
not so much if you just scroll down
I wonder if that document needs clarifying
mr_ron raw.githubusercontent.com/perl6/do...dules.pod6 ... the preceding =head1 is "The Future of the Ecosystem" fwiw
mst true. which also isn't what you were asking about though.
ah, here we go, zoffix added a reference to here ... while not in here ... without talking to me first 19:44
mst makes a slightly grumpy comment on the commit ;)
