masak one item I can take off the roadmap: identifiers now have an optional context \\o/ 22:00
(and Q::Expr::Block is gone)
this is an important step towards getting good unquotes
vendethiel good. 22:01
masak oh, lol! 22:03
vendethiel ?
masak and I can now add a long-standing test that used to be failing, but that is now passing trivially
it's about macro arguments carrying their original environment
which they already *do* in this new regime, because -- though they get displaced *twice* -- they end up where they were so everything just works out. 22:04
masak grins
yes, we're definitely on the right track here
vendethiel: by the way: twitter.com/Benabik/status/672436877568434176 22:05
(I've read about half of it. I found it very compelling -- mostly because it feels like I understand what the heck they are on about, which is rare with something like Racket) 22:06
vendethiel I need to get motivated to do anything :`|
masak *pat pat* 22:08
vendethiel haha 22:09
I'm faaar too lazy for life 22:15
masak I find motivation is something that comes and goes 22:19
for me, 007 is an unusually tenacious hobby project
probably partly because it's "bigger than me" -- I'm doing it for macros in Perl 6 22:20
vendethiel Yes, that seems like something indeed. It's mostly about tiredness for me, as I've found out
masak how's sleep? 22:21
vendethiel meh, pretty bad, but it's always been like that :) 22:29
at least now I found that music can help me sleep.
...I should be sleeping anyways 22:49
masak 'night :) 22:52
