Admittedly it shouldn't matter as of now, but from a theoretical standpoint i can think of two uses: re-fire install hooks, and re-build against updated native libs. Of course hooks don't yet exists, and the files required to build/make don't get installed so this isn't possible (yet) | 16:35 | |
| i dunno where i stand on that. functionally it would be great if i could get back a dist object form .installed() that could be then be installed to a different CUR at a different time (so would need to redo build/make stuff). then again its a lot of needless storage for something thats not exactly a common use case | 16:42 | ||
