** TT #2092: configuration with LLVM only as explicit option.
** TT #2095: correction in t/op/spawn.t
** Lots of pre-3.3 testing; reporter of good news on Linux/i386, but not so good on Darwin/PPC.
** TT #2096: Worked with one of our Darwin/Intel smoke testers to have him file his first bug ticket. 19:13
** Filed TT #2097: With --gc=gms as default, build failure on Darwin/PPC.
** Filed TT #2098: Selecting --gc=ms2, test failures reappear in t/src/extend_vtable.t
** Finally secured access to some Parrot Foundation financial data.
* WILL DO
** Testing as needed to help other work on TTs cited above.
** Working on talk for YAPC::NA::2011 in Asheville.
** Will be afk 1st weekend in May.

tcurtis Missed #ps last week. This week I've done little. Previously, worked on GSoC proposal. Will do: read more about LALR parsing. 20:10

cotto_work hello 20:30
mikehh hi there 20:31
atrodo Howdy
cotto_work quiet day today 20:32
tadzik aye 20:33
cotto_work How this week go? I don't think there were any significant problems with the release.
atrodo quite
cotto_work We also were successful in breaking master shortly after the release was tagged, so good job to us there. ;) 20:34
atrodo That's always a great accomplishment
benabik Just after release is the time to break master, no?
(As opposed to just before) 20:35
cotto_work indeed
I didn't say it was a bad thing.
The previous week's goals were: 20:36
GOAL 1: potential release blocker - --optimize --gc=gms segfaults Rakudo (whiteknight, all)
GOAL 2: HLL testing leading up to the 3.3 release (all)
GOAL 3: Formulate roadmap goals (team leads)
GOAL 4: Review GSoC proposals, help students as needed (gsoc mentors)
GOAL 5: fix g++ failures in extend_vtable tests (dukeleto)
mikehh 1 seems to be fixed (mostly) 20:37
cotto_work 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 got attention
whiteknight++ and bacek++ for fixing that
spinclad GOAL 6: bugfest this weekend - get below 500 open tickets 20:38
cotto_work that doesn't seem to have happened
mikehh unfortunately was away over the weekend 20:39
cotto_work any points for discussion? My question depends on kid51, so I'll hold onto it until he's here. 20:41
atrodo cotto_work> was your point the YAPC BOF? 20:42
Util 7-day ticket report - 7 new, 7 closed: fixed.
Util is not really here :)
cotto_work atrodo: no, but that would have been a good idea
I'll be at YAPC::NA, so if there's a BoF I'm there. 20:43
and YAPC::EU, but that's not for several moths 20:44
*months
atrodo I'll be there as well, and so will kid51, so I say we definitely should
We had a parrot/rakudo BOF room last year, and that seemed to work pretty well 20:45
benabik I'm trying to figure out logistics to get there too.
cotto_work The more, the merrier. dukeleto will be there too.
either that, or he's giving his talks remotely
atrodo Oh, looks like kid51 sent out an email too 20:46
cotto_work any volunteers to make sure that the BoF is arranged? I have no idea what's involved, but I don't think it'll take too much work.
cotto_work listens to the soothing sound of the crickets 20:52
looks like that's the first goal for the week 20:53
any other questions?
atrodo I'll see what I can find out about the BOF
cotto_work atrodo: thanks 20:54
mikehh never sure if you can join a BoF from faarrrr away
20:54 lucian_ joined
atrodo We could setup a teamspeak server in the room 20:55
cotto_work When meeting in person, it's nice to close laptops and have a focused discussion (for a while, at least).
though that doesn't exclude a teamspeak (or equivalent) server 20:56
atrodo It's a good time to have some good discussions 20:57
cotto_work very 20:58

Tene what are the recording options for teamspeak? 20:58
cotto_work I'm always diligent to take notes during discussions. I know I'll forget half of what was said otherwise. 20:59
well, I try to be diligent
benabik Tene: Looks like you have to just get a program that can intercept the mic and sound port. 21:00
Tene I can never take reasonable realtime notes; I always prefer to have a recording of a voice (or textual, but that's much easier) discussion when possible; I've set up asterisk to do that for group conferences several times in the past, and may be able to do that here if wanted. 21:01
cotto_work Tene: sure 21:02
any other comments? We seem to be winding down. 21:10
