melezhik I try to install Cro::TSL on my Mac OS and get this error - gist.github.com/melezhik/88c1f9814...9b3054ba59 , any thoughts? 08:20
have successfully installed openssl using brew
and have no issues with installing IO::Socket::Async::SSL , OpenSSL modules 08:21
only have an issue with Cro::TLS

.vushu ab5tract: very interesting article make raku harness the power of other languages, maybe I should give Zig a try. 11:19

librasteve me too… maybe if we had Inline::Zig we could write a go fast Zig-routine or two in aslang 12:31
gotta be better than Rust 12:32

.vushu @antononcube I have added full fen notation now, now the action returns a Result object containing the ranks and state info. 15:55
it should be upload in raku.land shortly 15:56
antononcube @.vushu Great! I will update “JavaScripdt::D3” to have its function js-d3-chessboard take FEN strings as arguments later today. 15:57
.vushu @antononcube nice looking forward to it 😁 15:59
antononcube Please install that package and try the chessboard demo script: raku.land/zef:antononcube/JavaScripdt::D3 16:00
Here is the script: github.com/antononcube/Raku-JavaSc...-demo.raku
@.vushu Ideally, at some point you will install one of "Jupyter::Kernel" or "Jupyter::Chatbook" and try those chessboard generations there. 16:03

.vushu that looks really awesome 🤩 16:06
antononcube Thanks! My problem is that is very non trivial to export D3.js graphs or plots to images (image files.) 16:07
This is my biggest impediment for making -- and documenting -- more streamlined chess-based workflows with Raku. 16:08
But being able to directly put FEN strings into the chessboard making functions is really useful for documentation and demo purposes!
.vushu I believe it’s quite a big task to integrate it. Im glad that you find it useful ☺️ 16:14
antononcube Honestly, I am not that interested myself, but a fair amount of people really want to see and discuss LLM-and-chess related computations. (I might be repeating myself here.) So, I am trying to do the "public service" and get more attention to my packages. 16:16
@.vushu Does the FEN parser work on multiple FEN strings? I am not sure is it a good idea to have that at grammar level. 16:17
But for example, for a sequence of FEN strings you can get a sequence of FEN::Result objects. And then make a "group chessboard plot." 16:18
.vushu it only works on one string at a time 16:20
Im guessing you are worried about the parsing speed of grammar? 16:21
antononcube Hmm... sorry, that is not important. I can handle it at the "visualization level." What is more needed for me is to have a Hash for chess-coordinate to piece representation. I will submit an issue. 16:25
@.vushu ⚠️ new issue submitted. 16:29
