arkiuat woot, my PRs have been merged into Math::Angle. I'm pretty sure this is the time code I've written has appeared on raku.land 01:53

otherwise it would look like lobste.rs, which has 3 vote links on the front page

disbot11 <librasteve> arkuiat: cool! (btw Physics::Measure has the notion of an angle also … sometime we should take a look at how to integrate them … general idea is that a Measure combines a value (ie a math thing like a scalar, vector, angle), a Unit and an Error. 08:54

xinming Anyone here knows which package contains Web::Request? 09:16
zef install --/test Web::Request, It's not found on raku.land, But yesterday, I installed many packages, one package pulls the Web::Request 09:20
In this case, How can I know which package contains it?
I grep'ed the share/perl6, Found it can be pulled from Web::App 09:27
But it's not in raku.land eighter, IIRC, it's there hours ago.
hmm, locally installed via github.com/raku-community-modules/Web-App 09:31
seems raku.land removed many modules 09:32

lizmat xinming: looks like it got transferred to raku-community-modules, and then nobody picked it up 10:23
looks like I removed Web::App from p6c on 21 Feb 2022 10:26
which is when raku.land stopped listing it
it does not appear to have any tests :-( 10:27

lizmat I guess it fell through the cracks 10:29
BTW, "zef install Web::App" works fine from me, it installs from the REA 10:30
xinming: might you have an outdated zef ? or disabled the REA?
in any case, I'll do a quick modernization of the module and do a re-publish 10:31

xinming lizmat: I'm using 1.0.0 version of zef, Not sure it's outdated, I thought on raku.land, no Web::App, So guess zef can't find Web::App either. 16:55
zef can't be found
16:56 librasteve_ left
tbrowder Web::App installed for me 17:09
ximming: what os are you on 17:11
zef 1.0.0 is latest 17:12
arkiuat librasteve: I dunno if Math::Angle is too heavyweight for you to want to use it in Physics::Measure, but if you ever do and need any changes made to the former let me know
tbrowder er xinming
arkiuat librasteve: looking over Physics::Measure, the only benefits I can see is that it would add grad, turns, and HMS angles to the angle units you can handle, and HMS angles are really only used for right ascension, so I don't know if it would be worth it 17:13
on the other hand, it would make the end-result Physics::Measure a good bit shorter 17:14
On the third hand, kpye has a lot of questions about things he's not sure he handled right the first time around (like subclassing Cool to grab all the trig functions), so maybe I should take a closer look about how your implementation of Angle handles that stuff 17:22
kjpye rather (the module owner), not kpye 17:26

arkuiat: OK sounds like we can just be happy to have two modules that do similar (but different) things … btw the pastebin ^^^ extracts the doc … grads and so on already supported in Physics::Measure land 18:10
arkiuat librasteve, yes, I see, don't know how I missed that in looking at Physics::Measure. And I did not know about the ::Navigation module, will definitely be taking a look at that one as well 18:12
