fondue Is anyone here using emacs for raku and have LSP working? I see RakuNavigator listed with emacs support, but I can't really figure out how to get it to work. I use DoomEmacs 15:20

Fondue I don't get any completions at all using Corfu as it stands right now 15:23
I'm also using Raku-mode 15:25

disbot <antononcube> @Fondue I am using Emacs a lot and often. My hopes are on Rakupp being able to hook-up nicely into Emacs. 16:12
<antononcube> See here: github.com/ash/rakupp/issues/44 16:13
Fondue I've been using Rakupp, and I'm very impressed with the speed increase and nice REPL
disbot <antononcube> My plans were to use ZMQ for connecting with Raku from Emacs. (As it is done for Jupyter.) But maybe some FFI abilities of both Rakupp and Emacs can be used. 16:16
<antononcube> Currently, I use Rakupp interactively via Wolfram notebooks.
Fondue There is RakuNavigator which is a LSP-server. It's available for VSCode, but not Codium, and I don't want to leave emacs anyway 16:17
disbot <antononcube> I use VSCodium predominantly with Raku. You can download the VSIX file from VSCode and install-form-disk in VSCodium . 16:32

disbot <holmdunc> Fondue: I don't think Eglot (Emacs LSP) has out-of-the-box configuration for Raku. In regular Emacs (not sure about Doom) I guess the config would be something like the following (and you'd have to install the rakunavigator executable manually and have it on PATH): (setf (alist-get 'raku-mode eglot-server-programs) '("rakunavigator")) (add-hook 'raku-mode-hook #'eglot-ensure) 18:45

disbot <antononcube> Yeah, something like that is shown on that Rakupp issue page. (Posted today, after I chatted with Andrew.) 20:56
