disbot <simon_sibl> when doing grammar, if I want one of the rule to be case insensitive, should I do rule foobar:i {} ? 06:50
<simon_sibl> because if I do lets say rule foobar {:i 'some' 'thing'} the case insensitivity is only for "some" right ? 06:51

timo simon_sibl, I think the case insensitivity in your example would be for the entire rule; if you want the other thing you would have to parenthesize 10:17
m: my rule test { :i "hello" " " "world" }; say "HELLO WORLD" ~~ /<&test>/; say "hello world" ~~ /<&test>/; 10:18
camelia Nil

timo not like this, evidently :)
m: my rule test { :i "hello" " " "world" }; say "HELLO WORLD" ~~ &test; say "hello world" ~~ &test; 10:19
camelia Nil
Nil
timo m: my regex test { :i "hello" " " "world" }; say "HELLO WORLD" ~~ &test; say "hello world" ~~ &test;
camelia 「HELLO WORLD」
「hello world」
timo that's it, the implicit flags on rule were not what i wanted 10:20
m: my regex test { [:i "hello"] " " "world" }; .say for ["HELLO WORLD", "HELLO world", "hello world"] X~~ &test; 10:21
camelia Nil
HELLO world
hello world

[Coke] Anyone familiar with custom azure pipeline hosts and want to tackle github.com/Raku/nqp/issues/860 ? 22:26
ugexe honestly i'd be for removing the jvm ci tests from rakudo and replacing them with --optimize=off variants. i don't see the jvm backend being resurrected and it has been ignored in rakuast afaict 22:29
--optimize=off moarvm variants^ 22:31
although that'd have to be rakuast only as well since legacy has more than a couple bugs with --optimize=off 22:32
i.e. rakuast make test with --optimize=off and rakuast make spectest with --optimize=off
