El_Che rakudo has JIT on amd64 to speedup the runtime. It does not on arm. How does rakupp handle this? A non issue because native code? 10:52
lizmat no idea, but the JIT is an implementation detail of MoarVM, and Raku++ bypasses MoarVM and NQP completely afaik 10:55
El_Che just, that's what I expect. Just wondering bacuse native is not automatically the same as fast 10:58

lucs Is 'Foo::Bar.meep' a legit module name? 16:21
And how about 'Foo:Bar'?
My guess: No, they're not. 16:32
Yet, zef repos have a few that happen to be structured like that. 16:33
Is that for historical reasons and they are now no longer allowed? 16:34

lizmat the Foo:Bar one was a mistake afaik 19:07

[Coke] There were also several modules created to annoy blin testing, IIRC. 19:24
(no clue if that's one of them.)
Are you *seeing* a Foo:Bar anywhere? 19:26
lucs Yeah, there's an App:Ralc and an App:Racl, maybe meant to be App::Ralc, not clear. 19:28
[Coke] I don't see App::Ralc in raku.land or zef search/info 19:30
lucs (Looking at 'zef list') 19:31
[Coke] Where are you seeing App:Ralc?
19:32 erooke left 19:35 manu_ is now known as eseyman
[Coke] ah 19:36
lucs One of its 230K lines output, eh (as is App:Racl) 19:37
They appear to be the only occurrences of that structure, so probably mistakenly placed in the repos. 19:39
But there are more like the other pattern, like: App::fix.raku:ver<0.1.10>:auth<zef:grizzlysmit> 19:40
Can one "use ..." something like that?

lucs Welp, zef accepts 'zef install App::fix.raku' although the module itself uses a hard-coded '/usr/lib/perl6/site/bin' path, so it fails to install. 22:27
So it appears to want to install just a Raku program, fix.raku. 22:30
So I suppose it's legit in that sense, eh.
